On 30 April, the University of Côte d’Azur hosted a dedicated session during the Chemistry Olympiads award ceremony at the Théâtre Valrose in Nice. Around 70–80 high school finalists and their teachers attended the event, which included a talk on the environmental transition in composite materials and an introduction to the SUSPENS project.
On 12 May, a second workshop was conducted by NTUA, featuring both a lecture and live demonstrations. Participants were guided through the main stages of the SUSPENS value chain, including melt spinning, stabilisation, carbonisation, pyrolysis trials, mechanical testing, and composite characterisation — offering a hands-on insight into the project’s technological developments.
