Key Achievements So Far:

We explored various formulations of epoxy and polyester resins, analyzing their mechanical properties while considering their application in the automotive, aerospace, and boat industries.

Initial trials of cellulose and carbon fibers were conducted, evaluating key factors such as density, tenacity, and elongation, with a focus on scaling up production.

A first composite sample using cellulose fiber was successfully produced, targeting aerospace applications.

We initiated environmental and cost analyses of our early developments, integrating life cycle assessment methodologies.

A Special Visit to FORVIA

As part of the gathering, we had the opportunity to visit the FORVIA plant in Saint-Méloir-des-Ondes, where composite automotive equipment is manufactured, primarily for luxury vehicles. This visit provided valuable insights into industrial applications and reinforced our commitment to innovation.

A big thank you to the FORVIA team, especially Justine Martin and Jean-Baptiste Cassard, for their warm hospitality!

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue advancing towards sustainable and high-performance composite materials.
